Can I put metal on just the porch or addition?
Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs we do. Standing seam works on a much lower slope than shingle, so it solves the flat-section leak properly. We colour-match the panel to the rest of the roof so it reads as deliberate rather than as a repair.
Does my HOA allow metal roofing?
Most Fairfield County associations that restrict roofing are restricting profile and colour, not metal itself — a dark standing seam roof usually passes where a bright ribbed agricultural panel would not. Check your covenant before you sign and we will supply the samples and spec sheets for the submission.
How does metal affect resale if I am moving in a few years?
A new roof of any kind removes the biggest objection a buyer has. A metal roof additionally removes the question of when it will need doing again, which is worth something on an inspection report even if it does not show up dollar for dollar in the appraisal.
