My house has settled and the ridge is not straight. Can it still take metal?
Usually yes, but the deck has to be brought back to a workable plane first and that belongs in the quote rather than in a surprise later. It is one of the reasons we get on the roof before pricing anything in this county.
Where does the addition keep leaking from?
Almost always the roof-to-wall junction, not the roof surface. Water runs down the wall, gets behind poorly fitted or aged flashing, and comes out somewhere that looks unrelated. Redoing that flashing by hand is the fix.
Do you cover Shawnee and Corning as well as the bigger towns?
Yes — the whole county. Shawnee, Corning, Junction City, Thornville, Glenford and New Straitsville included.
Is standing seam worth it on a small house?
The square-foot cost is the same, so a small roof is a smaller number. On a modest house the total often lands close to what a good shingle roof costs on a bigger one, and you are done with it for fifty years rather than fifteen.
