Regularly, and we would rather be involved before the shell is up than after. Getting the roof-to-wall and porch transitions detailed at framing stage is far easier than correcting them once the building is closed in.
My subdivision roof is twenty years old. Should I wait for a leak?
No. Once a shingle roof starts failing, the damage is already happening under the decking where you cannot see it. Get it looked at at twenty years and replace it on your timetable rather than on a storm’s.
Are you insured, and can you send proof?
Yes, and we send a certificate before any work starts without being asked. If a contractor hesitates on that question, that is your answer.
How do you handle a storm-damage insurance claim?
We document what we find with photographs and give you a written scope you can hand to your adjuster. We do not make claims on your behalf and we do not promise an outcome — anyone who does that before your insurer has seen the roof is guessing.
